Duke Energy is seeking a college student intern to join the Enterprise Innovation team as an internal consultant, shaping smarter energy futures through human-centered design and Design Thinking workshops. You will support strategy development, change readiness, and storytelling for internal clients.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration, and exposure to executive-level projects within a Fortune 150 company. Hybrid work arrangements and a 10-12 week summer program are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's in a Design-related degree (e.g., Communications, Business, Marketing, Design Strategy, Business Analytics).
• GPA requirement: 2.75 (minimum).
• Must not graduate before August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant and central point-of-contact for internal clients, building relationships and delivering multiple projects.
• Support design thinking workshops and human-centered design initiatives to drive results.
