Job summary

Gensler is seeking a Digital Artist to shape the future of visual storytelling across design, motion, and emerging tech. You’ll transform ideas into compelling visuals and collaborate with designers, artists, and innovators to craft stories for clients and internal teams.

You’ll drive brand identity from concept to life, blending layout, typography, color, and camera-ready animation. The role demands strong communication and a curiosity for new technologies in practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Art, Interactive Media, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, and/or film production.
• Strong file organization and asset management skills with a structured digital library.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere).
• Experience with AI-assisted design tools and emerging design tech.
• Photography and film production workflow experience.
• Experience with 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and/or Blender.
• Experience with render engines (V-Ray, Chaos Vantage).
• Experience with real-time engines (Unreal Engine).
• Experience with large-format printing and design books.
• Ability to work with subject matter experts across domains.
• Solid understanding of modern design principles.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging visuals and stories for presentations, animated graphics, infographics, applications and kinetic typography through motion graphics and other assets.
• Create publications and layouts for internal and external storytelling of Gensler Design Technology and Project Designs.
• Generate branding elements and guides for various projects, initiatives, and internal intellectual property.
• Establish brand standards for Design Technology with templates and resources.
• Convey sophisticated concepts to non-technical audiences through storytelling and visuals.
• Craft stories for Design Technology Initiatives and IP across Film, Photography, Digital Illustration, Spatial Computing, Presentations, social media and Print.
• Engage on client projects requiring advanced storytelling through presentational mediums and/or Films.
• Illustrate powerful imagery reflecting our values, storytelling, and branding.
• Review designs with Senior Executive Leadership for brand continuity.
