Job summary

Linked, LLC in Owosso, MI seeks a Design Technician II to support engineering, product development, and prototyping at our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on creating engineering drawings, developing CNC toolpaths, fabricating prototype components, and assisting with product testing on-site.

The candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer teams to implement custom-engineered products and solutions in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and work from engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CAD/CAM and CNC machining in a prototyping environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities for product design and prototyping.
• Create and modify engineering drawings using Creo Parametric.
• Develop CNC toolpaths and post-process programs for 3-axis milling.
• Fabricate prototype components and assist in product testing.
• Maintain equipment and document test results.
• Coordinate shipments and packaging of prototypes.
