Ventek Solutions LLC in Owosso, MI is seeking a Design Tech II to join the onsite team. You will support design, development, and production of Ventek foam components, creating drawings in Creo and programming tool paths for 3-axis mills. The role includes prototyping, equipment maintenance, testing support, and packaging prototypes for shipment.

The position emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Customer teams within a manufacturing environment.

Competenze

Proficient in Microsoft Office to document concepts, test results and status.
Able to learn software for cutting machines and table operations.
Capable of operating a forklift or similar material handling equipment.
Able to train other technicians on equipment operation.
Able to test and evaluate products per written/verbal instructions.
Capable of following directions and working independently.

Mansioni

Create Engineering Drawings using Creo Parametric 3D CAD software.
Create tool paths using Creo Parametric and post-processing for 3-axis milling machines.
Produce prototype foam parts using 3-axis mills and basic shop tools.
Perform maintenance and calibration of Tech Center equipment.
Support product testing and prepare products for testing/packaging.
Make shipping boxes and arrange logistics for prototypes.
