Ventek Solutions, LLC in Owosso, MI is seeking a Design Tech II to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will support engineering activities, create engineering drawings with Creo Parametric, and develop tool paths for 3-axis milling machines to produce prototype foam parts.

The role requires operating cutting software, learning new equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Customer personnel.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) to document concepts and test results.
• Able to learn and operate software for cutting machines and tables.
• Capable of operating a forklift or similar equipment.
• Able to train other technicians on equipment operation safely.
• Able to work with Sales, Engineering and Customer personnel.

Aufgaben

• Support design, development, manufacturing and implementation of solutions.
• Create Engineering Drawings using Creo Parametric 3D CAD.
• Create tool paths and post process for 3-axis milling machines.
• Produce prototype foam parts using 3-axis mills and shop equipment.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of Tech Center equipment.
• Support product testing and document results.
• Make boxes and packaging prototypes for shipment.
• Arrange shipping using parcel software and LTL carriers.
