Job summary

Kickstarter PBC seeks an Account Director, Design & Technology to lead creator engagement and strategic outreach in China and the broader Asia tech community. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop outreach strategies, cultivate relationships with creators, and advocate for their needs within Kickstarter.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Design & Technology.
• Experience in Shenzhen and greater China technology ecosystem.
• Exceptional communication in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience collaborating across Asia and North America in a global startup environment.
• Ability to translate creator needs into strategic outreach and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Engage with creators in Kickstarter’s community and manage top-tier creator relationships.
• Educate creators through best practices, platform resources, and community development.
• Build and maintain partnerships with institutions and ecosystem players to expand referral pipelines.
• Represent Kickstarter at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.
• Drive strategic growth by meeting targets for revenue, creator retention, and expansion.
• Support product adoption by recruiting beta participants and gathering creator feedback.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to highlight success stories and creator campaigns.
