Our projects include structure and enclosure systems, components, and accessories for various sectors such as corporate, cultural, government, educational, institutional, multi-unit residential, sports stadiums and arenas, retail, industrial, correctional facilities, and warehouses.

The Design Team Leader is responsible for leading and facilitating a design team and coordinating the engineering efforts on assigned projects. Success is measured by schedule adherence, quality of output (drawings/engineering), and support for plant and field operations (customer satisfaction).

This role is a Monday-Friday position, working 1st shift at our High Concrete Plant in Denver, PA.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate with project management to develop schedules and communicate with customers to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Manage and oversee a team of engineers, drafters, and checkers, providing administrative accountability and ensuring responsibilities are fulfilled.
• Lead the development of engineering schedules supporting production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and conformance to contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual design obligations and maintain a submittal schedule to meet project deadlines.
• Oversee the development of erection drawings, ensuring they are consistent with contract documents and support manufacturing and erection efficiency.
• Monitor schedule conformance for all engineering releases and calculations.
• Coordinate activities of engineering subcontractors, including scheduling and oversight.
• Work with project management to identify and quantify design scope changes for the PCO process.
• Assist in information gathering during the design phase, including RFIs.
• Manage design closeout functions, including finalizing as-built drawings and archiving documentation.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.

Qualified Candidates will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• At least four (4) years of experience in engineering design or precast construction
• Experience supervising one or more team members (preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
