Job summary

Creative Environments is seeking a Design Studio Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee operational activities for the CE Design Studio in Tempe, AZ. You will supervise design and planning of projects, ensure quality assurance, and maintain schedule adherence while staying on or under budget.

The role requires close collaboration with the Director of Design Operations and liaising with clients, contractors, and the accounting team to ensure smooth execution of each design project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or a related field.
• Proven experience overseeing operational activities within design or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in deliverables.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder relations.
• Proficiency in Procore and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate job walks with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design team to develop project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Track all design studio projects from initial call to billing and closeout.
• Oversee design and planning of projects, site analysis, client consults, budgeting and cost estimation.
• Perform regular quality assurance checks on deliverables.
• Monitor project schedules and address delays or issues to protect timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure material availability.
• Develop processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity within the design studio.
