• Master’s degree in studio art or design.
• Experience teaching design at the college level.

Responsibilities

• Teach 100-level design courses focusing on foundations of 2D design principles and basic design software skills.
• Teach one upper-level design course developing design thinking and exploration.
• Maintain 24 workload credits per academic year; prepare syllabi, deliver instruction, assess students, hold regular office hours, and manage the design budget.
• Attend department meetings, critiques, and gallery events; assist in launching and overseeing the design minor; participate in possible future first-year seminar or Senior Seminar rotation.
