Compensation and Benefits

About this Opportunity

If you have a passion for interior design and enjoy building relationships within the local design community, our Studio is the place for you. As a Design Specialist, you will be a product and sales expert, sharing the story behind our iconic products by designers like Charles and Ray Eames, Jens Risom, and leading manufacturers such as Herman Miller and Knoll. You will work strategically to expand client connections and facilitate outreach in your local design community. You will report to the General Manager.

What you'll do

• Grow your business through outreach and networking within the local design community.
• Utilize company programs and tools to manage the full client lifecycle, aiming to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assist in maintaining the Studio's design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Facilitate the client experience, educating clients on product stories and details.
• Attend studio meetings, product trainings, and utilize company resources to increase product knowledge and industry awareness.
• Travel for in-home client consultations and visits to local trade professionals.

Does this sound like you?

This might be you if you have:

• Background in retail sales or customer success (preferred).
• Background in interior design (preferred).
• Ability to identify client needs, problem solve, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with POS systems, MS Office, web navigation, and 3D rendering programs (preferred).
• Ability to routinely move objects over 20 pounds and understand safety requirements.

The starting salary range for this role is $21.60 - $27.00 per hour, considering qualifications, experience, and market factors.
