As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for a Product Design Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Designing plastic and elastomer parts
• Material selection
• Collaborating with designers to create robot embodiments that fulfill a wide range of requirements
• Rapid prototyping & concept validation
• Working with supply chain and suppliers to manufacture parts

Must have:

• MSc degree or similar experience in mechanical engineering
• Expertise in surface modeling (preferably in SolidWorks)
• Good knowledge of injection molding and product design requirements

Nice to have:

• Experience with various plastic production methods, such as 3D printing or silicone vacuum casting
• Experience with soft material design (e.g., elastomers)
• Impact mechanics experience
• Knowledge of robotics safety standards
• Experience designing products for the consumer market

Location Policy

We require in-person presence at our office locations to foster collaboration.
