Kay-Twelve LLC seeks a Design Solutions Manager to lead design production end-to-end, ensuring sketches translate into buildable spaces and align with margin targets. You will guide a Design Production Specialist and collaborate with procurement while presenting proposals to clients and the PM.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Interior Design or Architecture, professional licensure, and 5+ years in interior design, preferably in K-12 education. Remote role with travel for on-site sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture required.
• Professional licensure (NCIDQ or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum five years of interior design experience; K-12 or educational facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production work translating the Collaborate vision into design intent and space planning.
• Develop conceptual designs, 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and furniture specs for client presentations.
• Ensure ADA, life safety, fire, and electrical code compliance in all solutions.
• Direct the Design Production Specialist’s daily tasks and review output for accuracy.
• Confirm manufacturer fit, manage lead times, and monitor design margins.
• Prepare and present design proposals to the PM and client; safeguard budget and scope.
