Job summary

Troy Allan Companies is seeking an experienced Interior Design & Selections Specialist to shape the look and feel of our homes, apartment communities, and amenity spaces. You will collaborate with homebuyers, designers, and builders to translate budgets into beautiful, durable interiors.

The role requires production homebuilding understanding, strong eye for color and materials, and the ability to balance aesthetics with cost.

Qualifications

  • Experience in interior design, residential design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of production homebuilding and the construction process.
  • Excellent eye for color, materials, furniture layout, and space planning.
  • Ability to balance aesthetics, durability, functionality, and cost.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, positive, and easy to work with.
  • A warm, engaging personality with a genuine love for working with people.

Responsibilities

  • Support homebuyers as they personalize one of the most important purchases of their lives—their new home.
  • Design cohesive interior color palettes and finish selections for residential homes.
  • Plan and furnish apartment clubhouses and amenity spaces that are both inviting and highly functional.
  • Select furniture, finishes, fixtures, and décor that align with project budgets and company standards.
  • Balance aesthetics, durability, functionality, and cost in every design decision.
  • Collaborate closely with construction, purchasing, and leadership teams throughout the design process.
  • Stay current on design trends while making selections that are timeless, practical, and marketable.
