Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to partner with customers in design centers, remotely, or in-home to craft individualized design solutions.

You will guides space planning, fabric coordination, product selection and project design while meeting sales goals in a flexible, relationship-based environment. The role emphasizes design expertise, social media outreach, and a strong customer service focus to promote Ethan Allen’s brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution, desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Working knowledge of online sales and design tools.
• Good listening skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with social media and grass-roots marketing to develop a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services; greet customers and schedule in-home consultations.
• Use social media to develop and grow the business.
• Educate customers on complimentary design services and financing options.
• Coordinate with team to provide exceptional service before and after the sale.
• Enter orders using the retail point of sale system; keep design center tidy.
• Develop business plans and grass roots marketing plans with leadership.
• Leverage technology to build project volume and client relationships.
