Goedecke Design Center in Bedford, NH is seeking an experienced Design Sales Consultant to guide clients through flooring, window treatments and interior design solutions. You will nurture relationships, schedule design consultations, and present proposals to help clients complete their projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in showroom or remodel sales; interior design experience is a plus. A strong design eye, customer focus and team-minded attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' proven work experience in Showroom Sales or related roles.
• Interior design degree or 5+ years of interior design experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess flooring and design needs while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers and schedule consultations.
• Stay current on product lines and services offered.
• Measure spaces, estimate materials, present proposals, and process payments.
• Coordinate with vendors and keep showroom organized and on trend.
• Support install team with clear notes and photos.

• Hourly Rate: $25 to $36 (based on experience)
• 40 hrs./5-day work week (Monday to Saturday: 8:30 am-5 pm)

Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Determine overall flooring & design needs while offering great customer experiences
• Build genuine relationships with new & existing customers
• Schedule appointments for client design consultations
• Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
• Measure spaces for flooring and/or window treatments (ladders will be utilized), estimate materials, present proposals, product suggestions, manage payments, enter data in POS & oversee project quality
• Keep the install team on track by sharing clear notes + photos
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability & order materials
• Keep the showroom clean, organized & on trend

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years' proven work experience in Showroom Sales, Window Treatment Sales, Furniture Sales, Remodel Sales, or similar role
• Interior design or similar degree a plus, or 5+ years of interior design experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fundamental tech, social media & math skills
• Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Critical thinking & problem-solving abilities
• Quick to help customers get what they need
• Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
• Organizational skills & the flexibility to pivot from priority to priority
• Time management skills & detailed oriented
• Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
• Knowledge of RFMS a plus, but not required - willing to train
