Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Aerospace/Materials Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive component release, quality, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with engineering change management and supplier quality processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent communication for reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute technical solutions for engine cylinder blocks for GM propulsion programs.
• Provide technical leadership for advanced component development.
• Perform complex design analyses and evaluate engineering designs.
• Manage engineering changes and ensure PPAP/production release.
• Collaborate with casting, machining, and gasket suppliers to improve quality.
• Lead root-cause analysis for field/warranty issues.
