Job summary

Kushner is seeking a Design Project Manager to support the Director of Project Design in planning, coordinating and executing interior design projects across its multifamily portfolio. You will manage the day‑to‑day design process, coordinate external firms, architects, consultants, vendors and contractors while ensuring budgets, schedules and design standards are met.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
3-5 years of experience in design project management, interior design, architecture, hospitality or multifamily development.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple multifamily design projects through all phases: design, procurement, construction and installation.
Coordinate interior designers, architects, consultants, procurement partners and vendors to stay on schedule and within budget.
Review design presentations and ensure consistency with approved direction and project objectives.
Prepare and maintain finish schedules, FF&E trackers, and procurement documentation.
Communicate across Development, Construction, Operations, Marketing and external consultants.
