Job summary

Kushner Companies LLC seeks a Design Project Manager to support the Director of Project Design in coordinating interior design projects across multifamily developments, including new construction, repositioning and renovations. You will oversee external firms, architects, consultants, vendors and contractors to ensure projects meet budgets, schedules and design standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in interior design, architecture or related field.
3–5 years of design project management or related experience.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication across internal teams and consultants.
Familiarity with FF&E procurement, finish materials, and construction docs.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Project Design in managing multifamily development and renovation projects across all design phases.
Coordinate interior designers, architects, consultants, procurement partners and vendors to stay on schedule and within budget.
Document decisions, track action items and communicate progress to project teams.
Review design presentations and finish palettes for alignment with approved direction and objectives.
Prepare finish schedules, FF&E trackers, and project documentation for approvals and reviews.
Track schedules, milestones and procurement, identifying risks and communicating them to stakeholders.
Support value engineering by researching alternative finishes and maintaining design intent within budget.
Monitor FF&E budgets, procurement logs, and cost variances.
