Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of roadway design plans, studies, investigations and reports.
• Oversee review of engineering plans or reports prepared by consulting engineers.
• Coordinate and review work of technical staff and oversee consultant contracts.
• Monitor progress on multiple projects, track schedules and budgets, and organize project tasks.
• Perform engineering design work on projects as assigned and conduct on-site inspections.
• Assist in planning and directing an engineering section or unit and lead staff as needed.
• Review and negotiate consultant contracts and report on project status.
