Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience coordinating architecture, engineering or construction on major capital projects.
• Experience leading multi-discipline projects from planning through handoff.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, codes and regulatory coordination.
• Knowledge of design management, scheduling, procurement and controls for capital projects.
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners without relying on authority.
• Experience directing design reviews, QA/QC and permitting readiness.
• Working knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination and document control practices.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; willingness to travel in North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction path from strategic intent to approved construction documents.
• Organize SMEs and partners to develop requirements, criteria and engagement plans.
• Establish design basis, scope narrative and traceable controls for cost, schedule and decisions.
• Lead design governance, stage-gate reviews and prepare materials for leadership.
• Coordinate regulatory permits and AHJ coordination for site compliance.
• Manage AE firms and design-builders through schedules, submittals and reviews.
• Direct the design phase, manage changing priorities and improve design-management tools.
