Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College seeks a Design & Media Instructor to teach inmates in the correctional setting, following approved syllabi and maintaining grade books. You will evaluate progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with TCSG and DOC policies.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Design and Media (Bachelor's preferred), and may require travel to satellite locations within the college’s service area.

Qualifications

• Must upload transcripts showing conferred degrees.
• Minimum: Associate Degree in Design and Media.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in field.
• Documented three (3) years or more industry-related work experience, plus experience in correctional facility and post-secondary education setting.

Responsibilities

• Instruct inmates in design and media skills.
• Use approved teaching techniques and maintain grade books and records.
• Verify student progress and complete required reports.
• Travel to satellite locations within the college service area and comply with policies.
