Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college, university, or vocational school preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible for required state credentials.
• Three years of instructional experience in trade/vocational areas.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, unless waived.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized competency-based instruction in classrooms and labs.
• Develop performance objectives and tests aligned to curriculum.
• Review and adapt instructional materials to reach competency mastery.
• Maintain records of inmate progress toward objectives.
• Adhere to facility procedures and safety practices.
• Promote positive social skills and model appropriate behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
