Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a design manager to oversee the Design department's output and processes at our Raleigh-area location. The role focuses on guiding designers, coordinating with sales and customers, and ensuring timely, compliant design delivery.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree with 4–6 years of related experience and prior managerial exposure, and will help drive collaboration across teams and projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 4–6 years related work experience and prior managerial exposure.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manages the work of personnel using computer assisted engineering and design software to perform tasks.
• Communicates with sales, building designers and customers to obtain information for timely completion.
• Reviews design work completed by designers prior to production.
• Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
