Job summary

Arquitectonica, a Miami-based architecture and planning firm, seeks a Design Manager with 8+ years of architectural experience to lead design teams and manage client-facing presentations.

You will work with Design Principals, guide multiple projects through design phases, and ensure deliverables meet schedules, fees, and codes. Relocation support may be considered; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in architecture or related design field; master’s degree in architecture preferred.
• Licensed architect preferred.
• 8 years of continuous work experience, including Multi-Family Residential and Commercial projects.
• Strong design ability with creative vision.
• Ability to work and problem-solve independently and collaborate with other disciplines and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop design presentations for clients with Design Principals.
• Manage project teams to prepare and finalize designs.
• Attend client meetings and manage client communications.
• Develop project workplans within schedules and fees, delivering on time within budget.
• Monitor project schedule, deliverables, deadlines, staffing, and billing; flag concerns.
• Mentor interns and junior staff, supporting professional development.
• Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, and staff.
• Ensure designs meet zoning and building code requirements.
