Job summary

ENGICON CM is a construction management company with over 20 years of combined experience. Our team delivers expert coordination among construction, engineering, architecture, and inspection to streamline processes and minimize risks.

The Design Manager II is the primary interface between the CPT and Design Consultants, coordinating from planning through DSA certification to ensure Campus Projects meet codes, budgets and standards. Compensation ranges between $165,000 and $185,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in design or design management.
• 3 of the foregoing 7 years must be with projects requiring DSA or OSHPD Certification.
• BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• QAQC review of plans, specs, cut sheets, schedules and other design documents for quality, constructability and clarity.
• Manage the process for timely and compliant production, review and sign-off of design deliverables.
• During construction, review DSA CCDs for completeness and compliance with design intent and guide the Design Team through the DSA review process.
