Job summary

ANE Consulting is seeking a Design Management Lead - Construction Administration in New York. The role will confirm design delivery during construction for an NYC DDC Design-Build facility, coordinating with the Design-Builder, consultants, construction teams, and DDC to meet scope, quality, schedule and cost.

The position starts in Midtown Manhattan and will transition predominantly to the Bronx, with roughly one day per week in Midtown.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with contract-document review, field inspections and condition reporting.
Background in project design, planning, and construction administration.
Experience with high-rise construction and/or major public projects.
Design-Build experience and strong client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

Confirm design and system compliance with project requirements (RFIs/submittals).
Support delivery to scope, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Evaluate progress and support corrective actions as needed.
Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, samples, and change orders.
Coordinate inspection readiness activities with DOB/FDNY/AHJ.
