Job summary

LiRo-Hill is seeking a Design Management Lead – Construction Administration for a NYC DDC Design-Build program to deliver four new high-rise buildings, with the Bronx project focus. The role requires 15+ years of design/field experience, architectural knowledge, and strong leadership in coordinating design teams, RFIs, submittals, and site inspections.

Office attendance includes Midtown Manhattan 4 days/week and Bronx project office as sites open, with a full-time schedule and competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a relevant field of study.
• Professional Architectural License is desirable.
• Previous experience with New York City agencies preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience reviewing contract documents, performing field inspections, and reporting results.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with ability to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Confirm that designs and systems are designed and constructed in compliance with defined project requirements.
• Coordinate and manage design-build team and consultants; monitor progress and quality.
• Conduct inspection readiness pre-walks for milestones and key testing events; document findings.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings; track actions to closure.
