Turner & Townsend is seeking a Design Consultant to join our team. This role serves as the primary contact for design oversight and strategic coordination across the project lifecycle, bridging client requirements with architectural delivery to align with budgets and quality standards.

You will collaborate with project management and external architectural practices, shaping the built environment for our clients and ensuring design solutions meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in interior design or architecture.
• NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred.
• 1–5 years in commercial project design or PM roles.
• Ability to analyze complex documents.
• Proficient in design software (Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Oversee external design consultants (architects, engineers, contractors) from appointment to construction administration.
• Ensure design deliverables meet client branding, functionality, and sustainability goals.
• Lead design reviews at milestones to verify compliance with briefs and specs.
• Support value engineering while maintaining design integrity.
• Flag potential design schedule delays and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate between internal teams and design consultants for technical challenges.
• Manage permit and regulatory documentation.
