Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural/component design experience (10+ years preferred).
• Proficiency with MiTek software.
• Previous leadership or lead designer experience.
• Strong understanding of structural framing and construction practices.
• Experience reviewing and auditing designs for accuracy.
• Proven ability to improve processes and reduce design errors.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the design team.
• Review and audit structural designs before production release.
• Drive continuous improvements in design quality and department processes.
• Ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Coordinate design revisions and customer-driven changes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material waste and improve efficiency.
• Support production and field operations by minimizing design-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve communication and workflow.
• Monitor key quality metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
