Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks an experienced Engineering Project leader to steer design standards and capital project delivery. You will coordinate with A/E firms, ensure design integrity, and drive improvements across the design team.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification of design standards and regulatory guidance.
• Oversee overall design delivery for capital projects.
• Coordinate design through all project phases with the Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain design requirements.
• Assist in development of design schedules to meet project needs.
• Participate in selection of A/E firms.
• Coordinate with A/E firms to implement earned value progress systems.
• Expedite design decisions and ensure effective information flow.
• Ensure design meets approved intent with all stakeholders.
• Govern design activities and resolve related problems.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvement strategies.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and best practices for design/verification.
• Review and approve key design personnel with the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with Engineering Tech Center to resolve design issues.
• Ensure replication is achieved where applicable.
• Support value engineering efforts to maximize project opportunities.
• Review design-related invoices and participate in KPI reviews.
