Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC invites student engineers to join our Design Engineering Co-op in Clyde, NY. You will work closely with cross-functional teams on projects that test technical and interpersonal skills, while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will learn FAA-required processing and documentation for elevated quality levels, apply data-driven CAD methods, and support NPI and development through data collection and analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited bachelor or graduate program in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar.
• Prior co-op experience preferred.
• Experience with 3D modeling (CAD) software preferred.
• Experience with statistical data analysis preferred.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and support on projects.
• Learn FAA-required processing and documentation for quality levels.
• Design test-system drawings using data-driven CAD approaches.
• Support NPI and development through data collection and analysis.
• Work with Returned Goods to investigate and identify design improvements.
