Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op in Clyde, NY to support testing, development, documentation, and implementation of advanced manufacturing and assembly processes for fuel injector nozzles.

The role emphasizes driving continuous improvement through data-driven analysis, applying Six Sigma principles, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency of production operations. Prior Co-Op experience and CAD skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor or graduate program in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Prior Co-Op experience preferred.
• Experience with 3D modeling (CAD) software preferred.
• Experience with statistical data analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and shop personnel on projects testing technical and interpersonal capabilities.
• Learn the processing and documentation to meet FAA quality levels.
• Use a data-driven approach to improve manufacturing and gaging processes.
• Support production through new fixturing and manufacturing techniques with focus on safety, quality and ergonomics.
