Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op in Clyde, NY. You will support testing, development, documentation, and implementation of advanced manufacturing and assembly processes for fuel injector nozzles.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, Six Sigma principles, and safety, quality, and efficiency in production operations. You will work in a team-based environment with exposure to quality, manufacturing, and design aspects of injector nozzle projects

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a accredited bachelor’s or graduate program in a mechanical/ae aerospace field.
• Prior Co-Op experience preferred.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling preferred.
• Experience with statistical data analysis preferred.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and shop personnel on technical projects.
• Learn processes and documentation to meet FAA quality levels.
• Use data-driven methods to improve manufacturing and gauaging processes.
• Support production through new fixturing and manufacturing techniques focusing on safety and quality.
