Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Medford, Wisconsin, seeks a Design Engineer to design, test, and analyze window and door systems, and to help improve manufacturing processes. You will work with suppliers and the sales team to evaluate components, product performance, and drive documentation updates.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have 2 years of experience in window and door design.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with window/door designs and installation is a plus.
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Possess strong organizational skills and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Engineer designs for window and door systems.
• Design, test, and analyze new and existing products.
• Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Work with suppliers to evaluate components and materials.
• Work with sales and marketing team and evaluate feedback on product performance.
• Assist with testing and certification of products.
• Provide and maintain accurate documentation regarding products.
• Work in a team environment involving production, customer service, and sales.
