Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Medford, Wisconsin, is seeking a Design Engineer to design window and door systems, test and analyze products, and improve manufacturing processes. You will work with suppliers and the sales team to evaluate product performance and ensure proper documentation.

Preferred candidates have 2 years in window/door design, a bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field, and proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have 2 years of experience in window and door design.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with window/door designs and installation of them is a plus.
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Currently, our Windows division in Medford, Wisconsin, a growing, major window and door manufacturer with manufacturing facilities located in Alabama, California, and Wisconsin, is seeking a qualified Design Engineer.

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $70,000 and $110,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
