Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Design Engineer to concept, prototype, and build new experiences for our web presence. You will apply the Stripe brand across evergreen pages and time-based campaigns, contribute to design systems, and create new digital moments beyond existing components.

As part of the Web Presence and Platform teams, you will collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver high-quality, fast, accessible web experiences and help evolve Stripe.com across projects and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of web front-end development at a tech-forward, product-driven company.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience writing clear, elegant code in a team environment.
• A portfolio of design work and frontend code showcasing design systems, engaging microsites, or related experiments.

Responsibilities

• Concept, prototype, and implement web experiences for Stripe.com.
• Contribute to design systems and libraries used across pages.
• Improve in-browser performance and create reusable abstractions.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to evolve the site.
