Job summary

Celigo is seeking a Design Engineer to close the gap between design intent and production reality, owning production-ready React components and advancing the UI layer within the UX organization. You will collaborate across Product Design, Design Systems, Content Design and User Research while partnering with Engineering and Product Management.

This role focuses on building robust UI, refining interactions, and enabling faster team workflows through AI-assisted tooling and token-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience building production UI components in React.
• Strong understanding of design systems and tokens.
• Excellent collaboration with designers and engineers.
• Focus on accessibility and responsive UI.
• Translate design to code with high fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production-ready React component library, the UI layer, and ensure alignment with the Celigo design system.
• Prototype complex interactions and motion in code to speed decision-making and gather feedback.
• Build AI-assisted workflows and token-driven tooling for the UX team.
• Enable and coach the UX team to adopt new workflows and components.
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Content Designers and Product Managers to translate design intent into accessible UI components.
• Define interaction states and usage guidelines for consistent engineering implementation.
• Review front-end pull requests for design fidelity and WCAG compliance.
