As a part of the Quiddity team, your work will make a difference. Our EITs have the opportunity to assist with the design and management of a variety of civil engineering projects. As part of our team, you will learn leadership skills from experienced engineers who will provide both mentorship and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives.
• Lead design tasks on multiple transportation projects.
• Develop quality work products and designs under the mentorship of senior staff.
• Supervise and mentor engineers-in-training, designers, and technicians.
• Understand engineering conditions, laws, and permitting organizations such as city, state, and county entities.
• Attend design meetings and interact with clients at your level of experience.
• Work with client managers to develop client relationships.
• May require field-based activities like coordination with construction services, inspections, and site reviews with client groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1-4 years of design engineering experience, preferably working on municipal infrastructure projects and/or county and state roadway projects.
• FE required; PE in progress.
• Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
