Doosan Bobcat NA US invites students to apply for an Embedded Software Engineer student experience program in Bismarck, ND. The 8‑month Co‑op or 4‑month Internship offers hands‑on work on real projects, mentorship, and exposure to corporate and production environments.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or equivalent.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Full‑time commitment for the 8‑month Co‑op or 4‑month Internship.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software, scripts, and internal utilities using C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, and/or Matlab/Simulink.
• Create and execute unit, hardware, and on‑machine tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, manage requirements, and utilize project tracking systems.
• Operate equipment, construct electrical harnesses, log, and analyze test data
