Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Memphis, TN office (also serving Dallas, TX and Fort Worth, TX). The engineer will analyze and design tubular steel transmission structures and related products to meet project criteria and applicable standards, and will prepare designs, details, documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with structural design background.
• Minimum 5 years of design experience.
• E.I.T. certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and project design criteria.
• Analyze and design structures to meet criteria using design tools.
• Prepare design calculations and cost estimates.
• Review drawings for conformance and revisions.
• Coordinate revisions with project management and drafting teams.
• Assist on design deviations and field issues.
