Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, located in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Fitter/Welder to lay out pieces, weld using MIG, and assemble structural components per blueprints and layouts. You will set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment while following safety protocols.
Position requires reading blueprints, tight tolerance measurement, and potentially training other employees. Schedule supports a 36-hour workweek paid as 40 hours, Fri–Sun, 4:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for a Fitter/Welder for our plant located in Ft. Worth, TX. As a Fitter/Welder at Meyer Utility Structures, you’ll use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders. You’ll then set up, operate, and maintain the welding equipment. Through the MIG welding process, you are responsible for welding together structural steel and other metals to build utility structure products while implementing safety protocols and procedures.
Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.
