Job summary

Candidates should have a mechanical or industrial engineering background, 0–8 years of design experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks or Creo. The role emphasizes manufacturing awareness and cost containment in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 0-8 years related design experience; plastics/sheet metal preferred.
• Experience bringing new products to mass production.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo).
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑ups.

Responsibilities

• Design parts, accessories and cab systems from concept to production.
• Use CAD, file management and ERP tools to develop design solutions.
• Suggest manufacturing directions to meet cost and performance goals.
• Analyze existing/new designs for cost reduction opportunities.
• Owns engineering tasks within the PDP and communicates with stakeholders.
• Create sketches, prints, diagrams and presentations to support solutions.
• Solicit feedback from customers, designers, sales, suppliers and other engineers.
• Investigate field/production problems and propose solutions.
• Handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
