Job summary

Colder Products Company (CPC) in Minnesota is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to shape product development from concept through launch. You will collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, Applications, and Marketing to deliver robust solutions.

You’ll contribute to plastic component design, GD&T, rapid prototyping, and injecting molded parts, with travel up to 5%. The role emphasizes curiosity, creativity, and clear communication with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of design and product development experience.
• Curious, creative, and tenacious problem solver.
• CAD proficiency – PTC Creo (preferred), SolidWorks, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop products from conceptualization to launch.
• Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers for new product development.
• Partner with Sales, Applications, and Marketing to create solutions for diverse OEM markets.
• Maintain high interaction with customers, sales managers, and application engineers.
• Lead or assist in resolving product performance issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and CPC core values.
