Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Massachusetts seeks a design engineer to lead New Product Introduction and drive engineering from concept through plans. You will work with PM, commercial and development teams on technical aspects of new products.

The role involves tooling design, feasibility reviews, cost analysis, BOM/Router creation, and ensuring repeatable, cost-effective manufacturing. Strong CAD skills and GD&T are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in design/production/manufacturing roles.
• Proficient with SolidWorks CAD tools and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction - handle all technical aspects with PM, Commercial and Development teams.
• Design production tooling and coordinate tooling purchases.
• Perform cost analysis on new designs and existing products.
• Create manufacturing drawings and manage BOMs, Routers and inspection plans.
