Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years using SolidWorks for mechanical design.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with CAD drawings.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Ability to interface with operations and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design custom mechanical components, assemblies, and equipment.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and safety.
• Create and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design and integrate mechanical and fluid power systems in assemblies.
• Collaborate with operations and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Support projects from concept through production and reviews.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with machining and fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Manage engineering deliverables and project timelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput and quality.
