Job summary

L&T Technology Services Limited. is seeking an Engineer L2 to develop feasible layouts, create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6, and manage layout issues and BOM targets. The role combines technical writing, supplier coordination, and multi-project delivery in a hybrid setup with ~80% onsite work.

The candidate should hold a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, be able to work independently or in a team, and make technical decisions with moderate supervision. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS or MS in engineering and all the skills and abilities of Engineer L2.
• Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
• Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
• Must be able to work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
• Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
• Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.

Responsibilities

• Work with HDMA PICs (Person In Charge) to develop feasible layouts and resolve issues.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 & V6.
• Layout and drawing issue resolution and DPM management
• BOM Price and Weight targets management.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
