LS Solutions is seeking a Design Engineer to support existing product lines in a fast-paced R&D environment. The role focuses on medical, aerospace, and industrial applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and solve design challenges.

The engineer will manage ECOs, engage with Manufacturing and Quality, and support RMA analysis to deliver sustainable solutions. On-site work in the United States is required, with a salary range aligned to experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or design experience.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, process improvements, and manufacturing processes (e.g., laser welding, CNC machining).
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks), measurement tools, and ERP systems (Oracle).
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA, product development lifecycle, and engineering change management.
• Excellent communication, project management, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electric motors or precision rotating equipment is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product performance and improvements.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and process change requests.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams on technical problem-solving to enhance design.
• Assist in customer RMA analysis to develop sustainable solutions.
• Engage with Application Engineering and customers to ensure design meets expectations.
• Support cost-control initiatives through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE).
• Champion company values including integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
