Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Design Engineer II to drive concept-to-manufacturing design of custom crushing equipment. Youll contribute to analysis, testing, prototyping and cross-functional collaboration across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement in design evaluation, drawings, BOMs, and interaction with sales and service teams to support solutions for the aggregate industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing cone, jaw, or impact crushers preferred.
• Experience commissioning equipment and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product design and development for crushing equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates.
• Design and detail custom crushing equipment for production.
• Perform design analysis for components.
• Create drawings and bills of material with all production details.
• Perform testing and prototyping of new products.
• Evaluate and implement design changes.
• Provide support to sales and service teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Design Engineer II, you'll play a key role in the design and development of custom crushing equipment from concept to manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to get hands-on involvement in design analysis, testing, prototyping, and cross-team collaboration —offering comprehensive engineering involvement in the product life cycle and impact on the aggregate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate product design and development for crushing equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates
• Design and detail custom crushing equipment
• Perform design analysis for components
• Create drawings and bills of material that are accurate and contain all information required by production
• Perform testing and prototyping of new products
• Evaluate and implement design changes
• Provide support to sales and service teams
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related education
• Applicable experience in Designing cone crushers, jaw crushers, or impact crushers is preferred
• Experience in the field with commissioning equipment and troubleshooting is preferred
