Job summary

Molex is seeking a Design Engineer II to advance engineering solutions in a dynamic environment. You will own portions of product designs, ensuring performance and schedule adherence with guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities include documenting scope, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and executing DFMEA/FEA, tolerance analyses, and DVP&R. Travel is ~10% as needed, with opportunities to contribute to cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with demonstrated mechanical design experience.
• Experience creating DFMEAs and using FEA / tolerance stacks in risk mitigation.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting project scope, requirements, feasibility, and work plans under guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to capture customer needs.
• Develop designs that are manufacturable and cost-effective; create risk mitigation plans.
• Perform DFMEA, FEA, tolerance analysis, and other analytical studies with supervision.
• Create and maintain product models and drawings using GD&T with proper datum selection.
