Johnson Controls in Birmingham is seeking a Design Engineer to deliver high-quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. You will join the Fire Suppression Design Team based in Birmingham, with office-based work for the first six months.
After this period, hybrid working will be available subject to performance. You will attend occasional UK site surveys and client design meetings, supported by extensive training and a strong safety culture.

As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. You will join our Fire Suppression Design Team based in Birmingham.
To ensure full training, onboarding, and support, the role will be office‑based for the first 6 months. After this period, hybrid working will be available subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager.
You will also attend occasional UK site visits for surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark-ups, and client design meetings.
